Family Tree
Our Family Tree starts at Daniel Host and spreads to the
following families:
The above links are up to date and are courtesy of my
brother Richard. These links will
direct you to the relevant pages on his Web site.
I also have a graphical version of our family tree which was
created using GenDesigner 2, a shareware program of which a
Beta release of version 3 is available at www.gendesigner.com.
I am yet to ascertain how well the Version 3 beta opens my
Version 2 files. If you want to play with GenDesigner to get
a feel for it, or if you're like one correspondent of mine
who didn't like version 3 and wanted to go back to an old
version, here's GenDesigner
1.5.3. It is freeware, and according to the licence
that came with it, we are legally allowed to to distribute
it here.
GenDesigner
version 2 Beta is also available here (548 kB). It
is NOT freeware. It is shareware, and not being supported by
GenDesigner, because they're now on version 3. After trying
version 2 Beta, you are required to buy a license for
US$29.95 from GenDesigner, but I'm not sure if this is still
possible.
My tree is a little out of date - the last time data was
modified was in 1999 - but most of it is there, including
the tree on Julie's side of the family, which hasn't been
covered by Richard.
